Phase 2 is the launch of Marketplace. Marketplace is a platform for DPHR users to sell their medical data. Platform users enter medical data into the BioPassport database, which is sold to potential buyers who have requested access to the data. If you agree, you can decide which data to register on the Marketplace. DPHR users are notified when there is a demand for the kind of data they can provide. AI has been used to organize and tag data so that the results can be filtered according to the specific type of data that buyers are looking for. On the demand side, potential buyers of DPHR data include research institutes, healthcare institutions, or private companies such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon. The healthcare data analytics market is estimated to be around $14 billion in 2019, and at least $50 billion after 2024, implying that demand for raw data is also increasing. Given this demand, DPHR data sales are expected to be one of BioPassport’s main revenue pipelines.
