At the heart of the BioPassport platform, the DID system ensures that sensitive data is not accessed without approval. This allows users to drop anxiety and enter data about their medical information into the BioPassport system. As a result, users can build their own distributed personal health records (DPHR). The importance of PHR has already been explained in previous posts. DPHR fulfills all the requirements including mobility, accessibility, consistency and, most of all, security.
